Track ‘Em Tigers Podcast Debuting this Weekend!

In our effort to bring you news, notes, and information on all things Auburn in fresh, entertaining ways, I am excited to announce our brand new podcast debuting this weekend! Just in time for the 2017 football season and hosted by myself, the podcast will cover all things Auburn football-related as well as national college football headlines.

Our first edition will be up this Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern – 7 Central time. Episodes will be added each Sunday evening recapping the previous week’s stories or games and highlighting things to come. I look forward to having our loyal readers on board as loyal listeners to take this journey with us as this new feature of the blog evolves over time. Thank you for your support! War Eagle!

    Looking forward to it Derrick!

I can't find the podcast what is it that I should search

      • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Sorry I’m so late responding to this! A link to the podcast will be added to the blog tomorrow evening. It will be available to download or stream. More details will be posted tomorrow morning!

  2. AUwaterboy AUwaterboy says:

I will tune in. BTW …

I recognize Jim Fyffe’s picture at the top of this post but who’s that guy on his right?

  3. uglyjoe says:

Sounds great, but crap….just as I was getting comfortable with this internet thing, now I’ve got to figure out what a podcast is……

    • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Won’t be difficult. I’ll eventually transition all of the episodes over to a podcast dedicated platform but for the initial run, they’ll all simply be hosted on YouTube as audio only. I’m not ready to show my ugly mug just yet. Can’t scare away listeners the first episode…

  4. Acid Reign Acid Reign says:

……I’m looking forward to it. I was always petrified at the idea of doing a podcast. My accent’s all wrong, I ramble, I stutter… I also tend to skip those things when I’m skimming my feeds, unless it’s something I REALLY want to take the time on.

    • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Well, hopefully I can loosen you up because I definitely want (and need) you on the podcast so you can talk X’s and O’s at some point.

  5. sparkey sparkey says:

Gonna have to ask a personal favor of you guys here. I will listen to your podcasts as well as continue reading the articles and I still leave a comment fairly often too. Could you guys also listen to my podcast as well? Leave messages on there or a review. Give us a question, suggestion. Let us know what you think.

    • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Send me the info at would love to have you on mine as well.

      • sparkey sparkey says:

Also, yeah ours may be a little slow for you as well. We have a few things that need improvement for sure.

        • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Maybe not. I’m not detested by the laid back style of most of the AU podcasts it’s just that they all end up sounding so similar. I love to talk sports and feel like I do it in a fun, unique way. We’ll see. I’m excited.

    • Tigerstripe Tigerstripe says:

What’s the subject of your podcast? I travel a lot and love listening to them. Let me know where to find it.

      • sparkey sparkey says:

Auburn athletics-we are trying to get added on to the War Eagle Sports Radio app, but it is extremely political and we can’t make any headway.

        • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

I’ll be on AU Wishbone in September! That’s about the only show I can listen to on there. Marcello is “meh” and Ham Radio is awful.

          • sparkey sparkey says:

I can’t stand AU Wishbone either. They are always forgetting names and just obviously winging it as they go along and Van is a complete Gustapo member and it totally skews his objectivity. That said, Ham Radio is pathetic to be sure. You have a Bammer on there and he runs over the Auburn guy. On top of that, they can’t stay on topic.
I highly recommend you listen to Doug Dean and Earl Ray sometime. They have the best Auburn football podcast you can find anywhere. No, that isn’t my podcast either hahaha and they have no clue who I am. They are just danged good at what they do. They are on the App too. It is called the All-Access Auburn Podcast.

          • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Doug Dean and Earl Ray are great. Their show is a just little slow for me. However, great content and wonderful in-depth insight into the games and the team. I never miss an episode of theirs. The War Eagle Sports Radio app is what finally pushed me over the edge in regards of finding the motivation to do an Auburn podcast. I'm confident I can put out an equally (if not more so) entertaining product. I'm looking forward to finding my voice and talking a little college football.

  6. Zach Taylor Zach Taylor says:

I hope I can get on, at some point.

  7. Tigerstripe Tigerstripe says:

Nice to hear. I travel a lot and will add you guys to my favorites. Eventually maybe it will be on the iPhone platform…maybe? Please do a listener mail bag portion on the podcast. I’d love to hear you guys riff on questions. Good luck.

  8. Pine Mt Tiger Pine Mt Tiger says:

Good news. I remember the old Saturday Savants that Jay used to put up on this site before TET joined USAToday. I used to follow those and I look forward to following the new TET Podcast

    • Derrick Roberts Derrick Roberts says:

Thank you! Look forward to bringing it to you all.

    • WarSamEagle WarSamEagle says:

Yeah, I remember Savants too. Here’s a link to one of the shows:

BTW Derrick, I’ll be listening to you this weekend also.

    • AubTigerman AubTigerman says:

Yes PMT, it is good news.

Derrick and I have been kicking this around for a few years. We at TET are not only pleased to get a podcast going but exited that Derrick will be the one hosting and running it. He has a lot of creative talent besides his obvious writing skills. We think the program will be well worth the hearer’s time and hope everyone will not only tune in but tell their friends about it as well.
