Track ‘Em Tigers Gearing Up For an Exciting Football Season

By on August 15th, 2018 in Football 8 Comments »

With just under three weeks till Auburn opens against No. 6 Washington in the College Football Kickoff Classic, the staff members at Track ‘Em Tigers are gearing up for the 2018 season. Consequently, we’ve put together a full lineup for our readers each day of the week.

Cole Locascio will be returning for another season and will lead off the week on Monday mornings. As a college student, Cole brings a fresh perspective to the forum. He is also a sports journalist intern, and his experience covering SEC events on the radio gives him a solid foundation for writing about both the Tigers and the Southeastern Conference.

Zach Taylor will keep a close eye on the recruiting scene, but he loves to write about all Auburn sports—especially football. His weekly column will appear on Tuesday mornings. Knowing Zach, we can expect he’ll be contributing various stories at other times throughout the month as well.
On Tuesday evenings WarEagle3020 will bring us the latest on the TET/Yahoo College Football Pick ’Em Contest. If you haven’t registered for your chance to win the Golden Bo Award, now would be a good time to do so. Here’s the link on how to get started.
If you’re a regular here, you must have noticed Sullivan013‘s (a.k.a. Pat Sullivan, not No.7) “Tiger Eye” column has returned. Pat is a wizard with statistical analysis, and his articles are always clever and intelligently written. His excellent takes on happenings at Auburn and around college football in general will appear on Wednesdays.

Most of our readers will remember Grant Dozier’s (a.k.a. Atl_AU_Fan) excellent coverage of National Signing Day the last couple of years. Grant will post on Friday mornings. Few have the background in Auburn Football that he brings to the table. Whenever you find someone like Grant who has attended over 300 Auburn football games, it’s always good to get his perspective.

Derrick Roberts does an outstanding job hosting, recording, editing and producing the TET Podcast. Every week during football season, he and co-host Zach Taylor will discuss pertinent questions from the podcast fan base, recruiting, depth charts, and much more. The two covered a lot of ground in Episode 16 last Friday, so if you haven’t heard the first show of the season, you can check it out here. Future podcasts will probably hit on Friday evenings. We can expect to see Derrick pen a couple of articles a month as well.

Finally, we feel there is just no one better at game previews and unit breakdowns than our own Acid Reign. The Acid man will give us his game sneak peeks on Thursdays. And as usual. he will also host TET’s Open Thread on game days followed by his post-game wrap up and analysis on Sundays.

Of course, authors WarEagle3020, Michael Val, and MyAuburn will chime in from time to time with additional articles as will Jay Coulter and I. Jay is starting his fourteenth year blogging about Auburn football. His writings are always insightful and thought-provoking.

We are all excited about the new season and can hardly wait to get it underway. On behalf of our publisher and the staff, I want to thank all of you for making Track ’Em Tigers a part of your day. We know you have a lot of options out there, and it means the world to us that you make time for TET.

We’re excited about covering another season of Auburn football for you. And we’re looking forward to bringing you the best possible coverage we can of the Auburn Tigers!

War Eagle!

Keep up the great work, TET, my favorite Auburn site. Unfortunately, all local Tiger news has a distinct color of purple and gold and not orange and blue.
