There’s Sun Breaking Through Those Clouds

By on October 18th, 2013 in Member Post 6 Comments »

As each day passes, we are nearing the brightest day in recent history. Supporters will smile, detractors will start to become invisible, and those who should be neutral because of their media positions will try to catch the Gus Bus.

A message to them…sorry, we’re full, loaded with those who were aboard from day 1. Wait for the next bus. ( If there is a next bus ). I suggest we carry on with a smile, staying classy and ignore the weeping,  gnashing of teeth, and denials that will follow. All is well. Peace.

…..I was excited about Gus the day Chizik hired him, and when he was hired back as head coach. I guess I’m in that Day 1 crowd, although I’m willing to let additional riders try to run alongside and climb aboard!

Neutral media? That species is only a myth, sort of like Bigfoot, Nessie, Champ, and literate bammers.

Bigfoot and Nessie/Champ have a chance to exist. Un(Bama)biased media and literacy in the Bammer nation? Probability: LESS than zero. 🙂 MVH

We should start looking to upgrade our transportation soon. I’m thinking the Gus AIR’BUS. Its really taken off and is soaring now. I can honestly say I don’t see it having to return to ground anytime soon, with a possible exception of when we’re forced to land and pick up some new HS signee/recruits each February! Speaking of which, those HS signees sitting in the stands on Saturdays “HAVE” to be excited with what they’re seeing on the playing field. As such, I believe our coaching staff will parlay this developing product into a lucrative signing class this off-season!

Those so called, fair-weather crowd who elected to not climb aboard when Gus was signed could potentially qualify as baggage handlers though. 🙂

Get ON the Gus Bus, or you’ll be UNDER it!
