The More You Know About Lou Holtz…

By on November 22nd, 2010 in Football Comments Off

Lou Holtz has never been a friend to Auburn. Apparently, he’s not a friend to most people. After making a fool of himself by throwing an Auburn helmet to the ground on College Football Final Saturday, this little gem has surfaced on the internet.

This clip dates back nine years to his tenure as coach at South Carolina. Feeling his self-importance, Holtz decides to rip into a young female intern who wants a few minutes of his time for a television interview. The more you know about Holtz, the more you dislike.

It’s comical that he’s a motivational speaker in addition to his duties at ESPN. Rather than writing books, maybe he should invest some reading time in the classic, How to Win Friends and Influence People. It’s time for ESPN to cut bait with this character.
