Can’t remember the year 08-09? But LSU had list a few more than “expected” . I was in a conference room with three LSU boosters , two of which could fund a coaches buyout from their checking account without transferring funds , and within an hour both had asked to be excused to take calls , i found out shortly after our meeting concluded that there was a off the record fundraising effort to fund miles buyout, he was fresh off a new contract that was expensive , had a NC the year before, etc., etc. (same timeline as chiz right now). I thought to myself ” how stupid would that be?” I’ve got to think that those same fans are pretty happy with him now as they are competitive every snap of every game . I’m not arguing to keep or fire chiz , I’m just saying every school goes through this. Georgia was a breathe away from trading richt in for a newer model two years ago, if they can best bama, they are headed for the big game. What we say to our next “career suicide” hire is ” we’d rather go 9-3 consistently and play for nothing , than play for big one sometimes and get crushed in others . No good solution

Willie Taggart. Great Coach. Smart strategist. Gets more out of less and will run a tough clean program. Auburn will definately punch some folks in the mouth or face the man’s wrath. (which is a bit scary.)
