TET Pick Em Results Week Four (with poll)

A quick question for you: We used to have a reader do a prediction thread under the old SB site and we had a blast with it over the years. We also had the editors do their SEC picks each week in a separate thread. I was just missing those last week wondering what happened. With the process of switching over a year ago, those didn’t survive and I think it would be great to consider bringing them back. Respond below to the poll with some feedback if you don’t have the time to post it in a comment below. Thanks for your input!

Not as many games have been popping up on Yahoo this year with SEC and Top 25 match ups on our slate for this group, as those two overlap significantly on the Venn diagram. With inclement weather around the southeast last Saturday, I really didn’t expect many teams to cover large point spreads, but outside the SEC, they did. Six games had the betting line OFF, which was as many cupcake matches as we’d seen all year. Twenty-two games were on our schedule in week four and AlBorges was the winner with 18 points. That wins him a LSU-yellow rain slicker and a packet of  Zach Mettenberger Lee press-on mustaches.

With four weeks in and your lowest two weeks of scores dropped, that leaves only two weeks of picks to separate the leaders. There’s only three points difference between #1 and #10 so don’t fret. People won’t start to pull away until later in the season. You can click here to go to the Pick ‘em page. Here’s the top 25. If you’re not in it, I’m sure one computer poll has you picked at number one!

OK-so I voted for Nick Saban to Texas. Fun for me, but completely not helpful….

The Prediction Thread could be rolled into Acid’s Thursday column. From an organization stand point, it makes sense, as far as folks breaking out the game as what they see is important for a W…..just a thought. And, I don’t want to mess with Acid’s writing mojo at all-it’s fantastic as is.

I just wanna see a Turd’s head explode if the wee one goes to Texas! HA HA HA!!!
