Tatiana Coleman Named All-SEC

Auburn Soccer has had a First Team All-SEC selection in each of the last five years and Monday the SEC office announced that Tatiana Coleman has been named First Team All-SEC for 2012.

In addition, Kala Faulkner was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team, after Faulkner started all 20 games as an outside back and led the team with 1,781 minutes played.

Coleman was an SEC All-Freshman selection last year and as a she has been Auburn’s leading scorer this season. The sophomore forward is fourth in the SEC with 24 total points and her eight assists are tied for second in the league. Nineteen of her points have come against SEC competition.

Tatiana will lead Auburn in the SEC Tournament Wednesday when the Tigers take on Tennessee at 2:30 p.m. in Orange Beach.
