The 2014 announcements of watch list for major football awards for collegiate players has begun. And it was announced today that Auburn’s Reese Dismukes is on the Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List. The award recognizes the nation’s top collegiate center.

He anchored a line last season that paved the way for Auburn to have the number one rushing offense in the country. It was an All-SEC year for Reese who graded out above 90 percent and had 124 knockdown blocks. So the expectations are high for the senior for the upcoming season.

After making the list of finalist last year, this could be Reese’s year. The announcement of the winner will take place at the Rimington Trophy Banquet on January 17, 2015 at the  Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The ultimate winner will be selected by looking at the consensus All-America picks from the Sporting News, the Walter Camp Foundation, and the Football Writers Association of America. Good luck to Reese and …
