Open Thread: HBO Real Sports Edition

By on March 23rd, 2011 in Football Comments Off

You’ve heard about it for months and read the details over the past 24 hours; now it’s your turn to voice your opinion on tonight’s Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel program. The show airs at 9 p.m. CT on HBO.

The first segment focuses on the revenue generated by the NCAA and member institutions. It profiles former Alabama wide receiver Tyrone Prothro and talks about his life now as a bank teller. The premise surrounding segment one is that the NCAA is making millions, while players get nothing.

The second segment is where the former Auburn players are interviewed.

We hope you’ll come back after the program and share with us your thoughts. It’s one thing to read it and an entirely different thing to see it.
