No one is considering that Mark Richt of Georgia might be a candidate to Texas.  That would put Kirby Smart the next day in Athens!

    …..They won’t go after Richt. He’s had a pretty good track record at UGA, but his last SEC title was in 2005. And he’s a stone’s throw from the 2nd biggest metro area in the southeast (Miami/Dade is a bit bigger). They’ve won, but not been dominant at all.

    I don’t know why anybody would want Richt. Nobody in the country has done less with more than him.

    If imagine the leg humpers would be rife with joy if he took the Texas job.

      I agree. In my opinion, Richt’s teams have under performed throughout his tenure. He always seemed to pull a rabbit out of his hat for the Ga Tech game, and of course against us.

      I would call Richt UGA’s version of Tuberville.
