NCAA Satellite Camp Ban Reactions

By on April 13th, 2016 in Member Post Comments Off on NCAA Satellite Camp Ban Reactions

How about the NCAA ban on satellite camps? Living in BiG 10 country, I get a completely different perspective on the this, mostly from the mouth of “St. Urban”. However, when SI gives “Harbaugh the Pius” the microphone, http://www.campusrush.com/jim-harbaugh-satellite-camp-ban-student-athlete-comments-1725253351.html,  to go on and on about how he values student athletes more than Hugh Freeze and the rest of the SEC it makes me wonder……

Gus Malzhan gets hired by Auburn and takes his entire staff on the road in the “Gus Bus” for the Tiger Prowl. The NCAA quickly came out and said that was a no go after the first year was wildly successful. CGM did not take to the airwaves and complain about how unfair it was that high school students would not get to have their coach speak to the Auburn staff about them and the possibility of college.

Now, necessity is the mother of invention. What will come after this decision? Players will still go to camps that are close by. I dare say there will b e more player videos. Let’s see, if we can’t get the Mountain to Moses then let’s take a video so the Mountain can see Moses.

Maybe I am missing something, what do you think?
