I touched base today with Lyn Scarbrough, the marketing director for Lindy’s Sports Annuals. He made it safely back from Arizona and has gotten the Auburn National Championship commemorative edition on store shelves in record time.

The publication is available now across Alabama and much of the South. If for some reason you can’t find the commemorative edition locally, it’s available for order directly from Lindy’s. It can be purchased by calling Lindy’s publishing office at 205-871-1182 or going to Lindy’s web site atwww.lindyssports.com.

Some of the stories and features you can look forward to include:

Detailed editorial coverage, action photography, features and statistics from the BCS Championship Game…

Heisman Trophy feature, including feature with Pat Sullivan, along with comments about Cam Newton from several past Heisman winners, including Bo Jackson…

Stories about each of the other four college football national championships won by Auburn, officially recognized in the NCAA Record Book … 1913, 1957, 1983, 1993…

Game-by-game reviews of the entire season as included in the Auburn SEC Championship special edition…

Auburn football history by David Housel as included in the Auburn SEC Championship special edition…

Coach and player features as included in the Auburn SEC Championship special edition…

Features including Jordan-Hare Stadium history and Lindy’s All-Time Auburn Team…

High quality, action photography from each game

Like I said earlier this week, this one looks like a must have for all Auburn fans. I’m especially looking forward to the story on Auburn’s other national championship teams. It’s time for Auburn to acknowledge these other teams as champions. This story should start the debate.
