Gouge the Gamecocks! (Auburn at South Carolina Open Thread)

A Fantastic Day for Football

War Eagle, everybody! This morning, Auburn travels back to the SEC Eastern Division where the Tigers will have played 3 of their first 4 games, to visit the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia, South Carolina. This game is an add-on game in an odd year, but every game is important in an SEC-only 10-game schedule. For Auburn, it is time to step up and win. Quite honestly, if Auburn can’t beat a 1–2 South Carolina team, who else can they beat on a schedule which reads: at Ole Miss, LSU, at Mississippi State, Tennessee, at Alabama and Texas A&M?

This game will kick off at 11:00 AM, Central Time and will be televised on ESPN. Check your local listings. For the few attending the game on the east coast, it should be a mostly clear day with temperatures in the 60’s. There is no chance of rain.

Auburn is hoping to get a few injured players back this week. Expected to play are Shaun Shivers, Austin Troxell, Eli Stove and Big Kat Bryant. The rest of Auburn’s injured in the 2-deep depth chart made the trip, except for K. J. Britt, who is expected to miss a few more weeks.

As always, feel free to join in and enjoy this thread. I should have full coverage facilities this week with no issues. I’ll have the play by play as well as sporadic commentary on various scores around the conference. I am looking forward to another great day of college football! War Eagle!
