Those of you heading to Plainsman Park this weekend for the opening series with East Tennessee State will be in for a surprise when you see the Auburn baseball team for the first time. Let’s just say there’s not a lot of hair around the old ball park this week.

A friend of mine, Scott McDaniel, forwarded this article to me last week. After reading it, I believe you’ll pull a little harder for this year’s team.

The Montgomery Advertiser’s Jay G. Tate talks about infielder Joseph Sanders’ mother and her struggle with cancer.

In a show of unity, the team decided last week to shave their heads in support of Barbara Sanders. It’s a great story.
