Craig would be a great get for the team. War Eagle!

  2. MyAuburn myauburn says:

If he comes that gives us 2 “players coaches” Kodi and Craig, me likee.

  3. Third Generation Tiger Third Generation Tiger says:

Craig is one of my all-time favorite football players and I don’t mean just Auburn football. He was one of those rare players that could carry his team all by himself. If he is half as good a coach as he was a player, then I say bring him on now Gus. Also, it seems like I read or heard somewhere that Craig is FSU’s recruiting coordinator. If that’s the case then this is a no brainer.

  4. wde1988 wde1988 says:

A man with a work ethic who knows football? Or said another way, an Auburn legend selling Auburn?

Outrageous! Preposterous! Ridiculous! And therefore it can never happen.

But if it could it would be extremely positive for auburn. Personally, while Trooper was doing the job (at least by all accounts in the recruiting circles) I thought Craig was starting to excel and really making a statement with the recruits he was bringing in to FSU.

Get someone that looks at AU different than just a pay check and great things could happen.

  5. mikeautiger says:

Recruiting Coordinator, receivers coach, and a great winner and leader. Seems like he beat out TT on a few recruits the last couple of years too.

I remember @ home against Carolina sitting in a close game in the end zone and hi. Rolling left and directing the receiver to run open and threw for the breakout score. DC knows receivers look at all the records he set in the European league. Open up the check book and bring him home!

Dameyune would be a great hire on so many levels. I would love to see him on Auburn’s staff.

  7. wpleagle wpleagle says:

It was too bad that Wonder Boy Bowden never had sufficient running back depth when Craig was QB. If Craig was hot, so was AU. If he was off, fuggeddabout it. I’ll never forget the home game where Mississippi State shut us out!

  8. Ricky Bobby says:

Been saying these exact things to anyone who will listen for the past year. Bringing Dameyune back home would be a huge!!!!

  9. Ricky Bobby says:

“….a huge get”, that should read.

  10. beezybub beezybub says:

Dameyune visited AU today. Hopefully a decision will be made soon.

  11. wde1988 wde1988 says:

I am reading a story on AUSPORTS stating that Craig will remain in Tallahasse.

    Oh well.
