Gene Chizik’s struggles are now making national news, with numerous outlets beginning to speculate about his future at Auburn. His Tigers enter Saturday’s contest at Oxford as touchdown underdogs.     Ole Miss has lost 16 straight SEC games and I hope that this Auburn team can somehow make it 17. It is going to be open season on the Auburn fan base while we weather this storm. I am just going to grin and bear it.

    I saw the morning Joe and was surprised. I realize the guy is a bama goon but like it or not – publicity matters. And the old saying that there is no such thing as “bad publicity”…. well, when your job is on the line – that is completely false.

    I think we are observing the “snowball effect” in action. The more the snowball rolls down the steep hill, the more mass it is gathering, and ultimately the more the impact it will have at the end.

    Unless he gets this fixed soon, I don’t see it ending well.
