Excitement and enthusiasm filled the air today as Auburn players and coaches went through the first day of fall practice on The Plains.

Was Ricky Parks expected to make a significant contribution at Tight End/H-Back?

    • AubTigerman AubTigerman says:

Yes he had a great spring and at 6′ 4″, 257 lbs. he was expected to make a great contribution as well as provide depth at the Tight End position. The upside of his departure is it shows that Malzahn means business when he says he’s going to hold players accountable. Truly is a new day.

I can only hope so Aub Tigerman, that what you say is true… that it IS a new day. But forgive me for being negative… but it looks alot like the same old BS coming from these pampered players that we have been recruiting over the last few years. I know I was young once too and that didn’t always mean I did the right thing. But these kids are steps away from multi-million dollar jobs. Do they want to go to the next level or what?

Now we have only TWO tight ends.

I will be watching to see what happens.

Did the QBs throw any? I can’t wait to see Johnson and Marshall sling it, especially Marshall.
