Auburn’s First Day in Pads for 2013 Spring Practice

By on March 30th, 2013 in Football 2 Comments »

Auburn practiced today in pads for the first time this spring. Reports coming from The Plains are that Coach Malzahn was not pleased as the Tigers struggled with their first hurry up no huddle action. But hey, it was just their first day at it. They will get better because the guy driving the bus will expect nothing less.  Below is a video from Saturday’s practice.

The video really looks fast, guys have to be worn out after an hour or two of that.

Even with the early whistles those guys are going to be winded just by getting into position. When the speed becomes second nature and the early whistles aren’t there and the play goes through to the end of a back pounding and grinding through the line then we’ll see how the conditioning is working.

    Early indications looked good….lightening fast!
