Auburn National Signing Day Open Thread
Hello, and welcome to National Signing Day 2016. We will be here all day in an attempt to keep you updated as recruits announce their decisions to attend their university of choice.
As mentioned in the primer yesterday, we will be focusing on those recruits who announce their intent to become Auburn Tigers. However, we will also keep you abreast of major recruits who pledge elsewhere, especially those who are Auburn targets.
For your convenience, we have previously posted the most likely prospects to sign with Auburn. In addition, we’ve listed projected time slots below for recruits to make their announcement public. All times are CT.
Nigel Warrior, 4* S. — 7:00 AM (Fox 5 Atlanta)
Ben Davis, 5* LB — 9:00 AM (ESPNU)
Nate Craig-Myers, 4* WR — 10 AM (ESPNU)
Landon Dickerson, 4* OT — 11:00 AM (ESPNU)
Ahmmon Richards, 4* WR — 11:00 AM
Jayvaughn Myers, 3*CB — 12:00 PM
Rashan Gary, 5* DT. — 12:00 PM (ESPN2)
E.J. Price, 4* OT — 1:45 PM (NBC)
David Marshall, 3*DE — 2:00 PM
Derrick Brown, 5* DT — 1:00 PM (ESPN2)
Is a package deal in the works for Craig-Myers and Myers? If so, then I think Auburn is, by far, the likely destination. If not, then expect the defensive half of the duo to join Gene Chizik at North Carolina. I cannot foresee both of these guys heading to the Tar Heel state.
We’ll try to be as accurate as possible when the Letters of Intent from Auburn commits are received. Please feel free to join in the discussion and participate to the level you can, and let’s keep the TET community the best there is!
WAR EAGLE and let’s have a GREAT signing day!
Crap. Now I really have to do some work…
What a way to close out the day! Folks, thank you all for your participation and for joining us for National Signing Day! I’ve had a blast hosting and still miss Koolbell being in this seat. Thanks again, everyone, and WAR EAGLE!!
The best WR class, and now the best DL class. Good day!
WDE! Now time to do in the next hour and 45 mins what I haven’t done all day haha.
WOW – Just wow –
Derrick Brown – A 5* DT recruit 6′ 4″ 317 lbs – What a grab!!
BOOM! Thanks, everyone! Love this site!!
I’m headed to the gym, so I am likely out for the rest of the day. Will be on twitterverse.
Gotta run. Do not tell the boss I spent so much time on TET today.
I question why I think recruiting is fun sometimes, but then these things happen. War Eagle!
Tigers win! Tigers Win! TIGERS WIN!
Huge. Monster DL class.
YES! YES! YES!
Ohhhhh Yeahhhhh !
AUBURN FOR DERRICK BROWN!!!
Here we go —
Maybe, one day, a member of TET can be on campus…
HA! This is almost, like, NEVER, my most productive day of the year!!
@KickemInTheB3, yeah this is my most productive day of the year too . . . Not.
Of course, Kirby taking the helicopter to the kid’s HS campus probably won’t hurt them any.
No worries — We will have the announcement as soon as we know it!
Thanks. I’m at work and can’t watch TV…not that I’m getting any work done anyway with all this going on today. 🙂
Auburn needs this.
Yep — Brown’s announcement is on the way
Yes. Coming up.
Isn’t Brown supposed to commit at 2:00? Anyone got updates?
Not sure I’m shocked at that one. Would have preferred the alternative but…
Price picks USC over Auburn.
Here we go.
@Zach Taylor, I like the sound of that!
Brown’s family wearing orange and blue, supposedly.
Yes, we have Sammons provided his LOI has been received. His announcement was to AU.
So we stole from Michigan?
I don’t know if he signed his paperwork, but…yes?
Did we get Sammon or not?
@WDErichie – War_Eagle_2010 is saying a Carolina paper is reporting that Davis, Jr. won’t announce/sign today —
Any word Stephen Davis?
Yeah, no LOI from Gary yet. That’s what happens when ESPN sends a limo and, in essence, makes a star out of a guy who has yet to play a single down at the college level. Why did coaches, both at the HS and College level, not ensure he had the paperwork??
Yes, it seems as though that information is accurate. Even though Marshall never officially changed his commitment it appears that he is now firmly on the UGA side of the fence.
Kirby and company has spent untold hours with Marshall the past couple to three weeks and, apparently, that time has resulted in Marshall becoming a Bulldog. Thanks for stepping in with the update!!
Gary reportedly hasn’t send in LOI
al.com is reporting that David Marshall has flipped to GA…which, I think, was what everyone was expecting anyway. Here’s the link: http://www.al.com/auburnfootball/index.ssf/2016/02/defensive_end_david_marshall_a.html#incart_river_index
In my opinion, yes, there is cause for concern. He has stated numerous times that UGA is his leader even though AU has strongly pressed in recent weeks. I think there is also concern for Marshall. Even though his “commitment” is to Auburn the folks at UGA have been pressing virtually non-stop especially the past two to three weeks.
Cause for concern with Brown?
Derrick Brown now set to announce at 2:00 PM CT —
hello2196 – Thank you for the kind words! War Eagle!!
Thanks for a job well done Atl_AU_Fan. I believe we got some good ones. War Eagle!
The Harbough love. Oh my.
And Mack Wilson chooses Alabama –
@War_Eagle_2010 – Thanks! That may very well explain the lack of any notification.
I won’t shut down the thread until all AU possibilities have announced. Or, at least, those who will announce today.
And Mack Wilson is about to come up even though AU isn’t one of his choices. His decision seems to be between UA an UGA.
Just read a Carolina paper saying S Davis Jr. is not planning on signing today . . .
I show Brown scheduled at 1:00 CT; an hour before Marshall.
What, no Brown?
David Marshall is the recruit with the latest scheduled announcement time. Therefore, once his announcement is finalized I will be shutting down the open thread so I can get the NSD summary article completed and posted. Zach, we will then await your break-down on each of the recruits. My summary will only be a high-level of who was signed, etc. and not any of the pros and cons of each.
This time of year seems to be more about location than baits.
You have to work them so slow anyway that it doesn’t really matter until you are on top of them.
I know — all good! 🙂
Although, “lipless cranks and chaterbaits” does kinda sound like coach speak!
Just trying to pass the time my friends… haha.
I thought for a minute there that the entire subject had changed!!
Let’s land brown and it’s been a good day.
Asking the wrong guy haha. Standard winter baits seem to do fine. Lipless cranks and chatterbaits.
So Zach, I hear that some guys are slammin’ em on Gville on Jackall TNs. Thoughts?
And I still haven’t found a single thing related to when Steven Davis, Jr. will announce.
We are about ~15 minutes away from the Derrick Brown announcement — Feels like we are in a dead period right now!!
Well, there’s a shock!! 🙂
Sounds like someone wanted their cake and to eat it too.
Looks like Iowa State isn’t even sure what’s going on! Why would Catalina schedule a 2/19 visit to AU if the ISU deal was already done?
Oh wow — I’d be okay if we are both correct!!
Think Brown. Dont know why.
Okay, folks, of the three remaining “top” targets (EJ Price, David Marshall, Derrick Brown) how many of these does AU sign?
Well, based on what Mack Brown just stated it sounds like there is a lot of “behind the scenes” stuff going on!
Wonder if Gary’s high school coach landed a new job….
All good —
So, Auburn fans, we still have E.J. Price, David Marshall, and Derrick Brown yet to announce.
Oh, I know.
Just stating that the deal may not be done yet. I was pointing mainly at twitter.
The reports stated that he signed financial aid agreements with ISU but that a number of schools had since expressed interest. Auburn offering a scholarship only means just that; that they offered a scholarship. The scholarship being offered by Auburn is all that I stated.
The reporters are sloppy. Allie Davidson reported a RB flip from Ole miss based upon twitter news which proved inaccurate as well.
They are trying to be the first to report things.
On twitter, it is being circulated that the report that he was headed to ISU wasn’t correct as per a family member.
Zach, if the Catalina news isn’t accurate then point to Brandon at AL.com – That’s where I read that. Why are you saying it isn’t accurate?
At least we don’t have to play him.
Never really expected Gary to come to Auburn. We’ll be just fine without him.
I was referring to the Meyers duo
Michigan – no surprise there as it relates to Gary.
War Dame Eagle – got both of them!
Here we go.
And, here is Rashan Gary
Had to watch that on something called “Merkat” or similar – had never heard of it so no telling how much spam I will now receive!! 🙂
The 6′ 1″ 185 CB comes to Auburn from Pasco County HS in Dade City, FL. (Honestly, about 10 miles north of our house in Zephryhills…)
And Auburn seals the “Package Deal” as Jayvaughn Meyers commits to the Plains!
Jayvaughn at the table now —
No further info.
Tyler Catalina news was not accurate.
I get it when you get a new coach. But, to do it over and over.
Freakin’ Ole Miss in top five. OLE MISS?????
Ugh Bama in top five now.
Like clm0001 below … This is the only way I know what’s going on with NSD ’16. THANKS!
Our chances with Gary?
Rashan Gary about ready to announce on ESPN2 — All signs currently pointing to either Michigan or Clemson even though Auburn isn’t “officially” eliminated according to his mother.
Also awaiting the announcement from Jayvaughn Meyers out of Pasco County, FL.
Ditto to Johnnyhy’s comment. AU is good at O-L. And thanks Atl for keeping me up to date.
We can’t discount Landon Rice. Dude is a monster.
We loaded up on Offensive linemen last year, all of whom redshirted. Throw in Sammons, Hamm and the Rhode Island Graduate Transfer for this year and that should cover us. I think they would like to sign one more, like the Price from Lawrenceville, but otherwise not going to waste a scholarship on someone they don’t see as contributing.
Thanks – Trying to provide updates as often as we can!
Shoutout to you guys keeping the thread going. Only way I know whats going on for NSD16. WDE
ESPN – Nuf said, I guess…
So ESPN was cutting to a live feed of Gus and they scrolled Alabama across just before….
Hope he likes playing on skill loaded team without blocking.
#3 CB Jayvaughn Myers is scheduled to announce at Noon CT with Auburn and North Carolina considered to be his destination. Also at Noon CT, the nation’s #1 recruit, Rashan Gary, is scheduled to announce his choice.
Auburn already has a WR class that can compete with any other but receiver Ammon Richards has committed to the “U” —
And Landon Dickerson chooses the Seminoles
I’m already writing a breakdown on Craig-Myers. Whoot!
Landon Dickerson only has helmets from AL, TN, and FSU on the table —
Jayvaughn is scheduled to announce in less than an hour – Noon CT – from Pasco High School in Dade City, FL.
Has the ‘other’ Meyers announced. If not when can we expect news on him?
Auburn getting some decent press on ESPNU especially following the announcement of Nate Craig-Meyers. Still sitting at #10 in the ESPN rankings. Landon Dickerson next up but Auburn isn’t reported to be in the Top Three for him.
Hamm is the only one so far – at least that I remember. AU has some chance, I guess, at both Dickerson and E. J. Price.
We need some line recruits. Hamm is the only one that I am aware of.
Auburn is a long shot but we are only minutes away from the announcement of Landon Dickerson, an offensive tackle out of Hudson NC.
Impressive class so far. I’m hoping that Antwuan Jackson (No.5 recruit in Ga.) will be another Nick Fairley on the D-line.
Rhode Island offensive tackle Tyler Catalina has now officially been offered a scholarship from Auburn. The 6′-6″ 298 lb lineman will be eligible immediately upon his graduation from the University of Rhode Island. Catalina has a visit to the Plains scheduled for February 19th.
@AUNation – yes, hhnnggg is a good thing! 🙂
@AUNation….yeah. That’s a good thing.
To answer Easyedwin regards refreshing page:

Zach, I’m a little confused by your description of Kyle Davis a few posts back… is “hhnnggg” a good thing?
I mean, they are like the 5th best program in the state?!?!?!?!
Zach, I don’t know!! It wasn’t long ago when there was talk of Strong being gone and, now, he’s kicking some recruiting butt!
I can’t believe the job Strong is doing at Texas. Where did they come from?
Thanks AubTigerman! Hope all is going as best it can! I think AU gets the package deal out of Florida with the Myers brothers.
Checking in from the hospital this morning. Trying to keep up between being passed from one doctor to the next. Looks like a good class so far. Nate-Craig is a huge get. Now if Malzahn can get the other Meyers too.
Good work Atl_AU_Fan!
Love Craig-Myers, though I haven’t broken him down yet. But…Kyle Davis….hhnnggg
Yes, he can. And, he will undoubtedly parlay that into a coaching job within 2 years, sadly.
Give coach Craig a raise. That man can recruit.
Nate Craig-Myers is the highest-rated WR to commit since 2006. Malzahn also saying this is the best WR class in AU history. (I’m guessing from a recruiting perspective; not necessarily the result(s) after 3-4 years…)
Yeah, QB play is what hurt us the most on offense last season. Way too inconsistent and that has gotta change
If these guys can actually catch, then yes, yes, they have!! Gotta have a damn QB, though!! And this, in my opinion, is where JFIII and WB come into play.
I’d say that the coaches have done well at revamping a struggling WR core.
Now lets bring in the other Myers!
Sweet. Best WR class in the nation. Not bad for Running Back U!
Crain-Myers is an Auburn Tiger.
Nah. If the Tunsil thing got swept under the rug, the rest will too.
And Nate Craig-Myers will be an Auburn Tiger! Craig-Myers is a 6′ 2″ 185 lb WR out of Tampa Catholic and will leave Dade City, FL for Auburn, AL!
Let’s get that LOI in here!!
Ole Miss might be in trouble with these NCAA investigations though
I mean, I get it. It’s Texas. But how Ole Miss is getting it done, I will never know.
And Texas. TEXAS?
Man, I wish I was at a tv right now . . .
Oh, geez, ESPNU – Come on
Here we go – Nate Craig-Myers
Does for me, anyway.
Do I have to keep refreshing, or does TET do it automatically?
Of course you can. But, we ain’t that lucky.
Plus, it’s fun conversation.
Why can I not want them all???
Come on Nate-Craig, you would look good in Orange and Blue!
Or, both of those OR Gary
Here’s a question: would you rather have N C-M or Brown?
Coming up, you know, after the obligatory commercial break…
Nate Craig-Meyers now on ESPNU – So that’s coming up
Also, being “full” can also mean “full at that particular position”. Or, that’s one manner in which I can see such being implied and/or inferred.
@AUNation – Well, damn
Let’s be real. He was told we were full. What they meant was, you aren’t good enough to be guaranteed……yet.
Well, really, anyone leaving or anyone who doesn’t sign, i.e. Ben Davis, frees up a scholarship. When the coaches state that “no” scholarship is available it is being assumed that those offered will actually sign. As for the transfer of President, I’m not sure that scholarship is immediately available. The one that won’t be used by, say, Ben Davis is available since it is the same class.
SEC Country just posted an article about Brown at his high school bball game last night. This is a quote from his mom…
“There are some schools at the top,” she said. “The kid is going to have some favorites. I can say his depth chart probably at the top would be Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.” Curiously, Auburn — the supposed front-runner — was not included.
It would have, i’m guessing.
President leaving frees up a scholly for Daniel?
In other news, President is transferring. Purifoy is ineligible.
The top safety to UT changed all that. Nature of the beast.
@AUNation – yes, correct. We posted at virtually the same time.
Thomas wanted to come to Auburn but was told, at one point, that no scholarship was available. Obviously, something changed in that regard but I don’t recall seeing anything printed in that regard.
Huh, he’s the one we didn’t have room for a few days ago correct? Glad he didn’t have hurt feelings…
Just watched Thomas’ highlights – guy has a lot of athleticism
Daniel Thomas is officially an Auburn Tiger – LOI has been received. Thomas is a Safety coming in at 6′ 0″, 190 lbs out of Robert E. Lee HS in Montgomery.
@Zach – I think Gary could be that surprise but I don’t see it.
He didn’t – Jackson will be a Seminole
Everyone gets a surprise. We are due for one.
@Al3xand3r – Yes, yes, we do.
Agree — Auburn hasn’t really “missed” on anyone expected to sign. Davis and Gary were never really and truly “committed” to AU. I certainly hope that Marshall and Brown sign with AU and, of course, it will be nice if AU can snag Dickerson, Richards, Price, and Davis, Jr.
Is it sad I just want Jackson to NOT commit to the Tide?
We need another Nick Fairley type on the defensive line. Someone not afraid to play mean and nasty
Like what I’m seeing so far. Now need to close strong.
Well, I mean, those you put into writing.
Looking forward to reading your thoughts!
Looking forward to writing breakdowns of many of these players.
Well, I guess we are only ~20 minutes away from the Nate Craig-Myers announcement.
Sure would make the day pass faster. Err…better…err…all of the above.
Zach, as per your Tweet, yes, AU needs to start receiving letters again!!
@AUNation – I’m guessing that Michigan has it made as it relates to signing Gary. I sure wouldn’t mind seeing him with the AU hat, though.
Yeah, Zach, they do have a knack for that.
I have a confession: I have never enjoyed NSD like I should because Bama closes so strong.
To my understanding, UA is out of the mix and has been for a while because he cancelled his official there and went to Clemson. Three hats on the table… Michigan, Clemson, and AU. I don’t think he will put on the AU hat, but like I said being in the final three of the number one overall recruit during his highly publicized announcement is always awesome for the brand. Kid is a program changer for someone though.
Thanks for the update on totals. Doing a good job Atl!
As for NCM and JM, I think AU gets the “package deal” on those two. Getting Marshall and Brown certainly won’t hurt anything.
I’m unsure what or how to think about Gary. There was an article published stating that both AU and UA were eliminated. Subsequent to that, however, Gary’s mom was clearly quoted as saying Auburn was not out of it. So, again, we will wait and see.
Agreed. But I really want this to be the best class ever. Every year has had caveats for me.
If we can pick up Derrick Brown, NCM, and secure the rest I will be overjoyed. Whether we have any shot at all or not, just having an AU hat on the table for Rashan Gary’s very public announcement is good for business.
@War_Eagle_2010 – I cannot locate an announcement schedule anywhere for S. Davis, Jr. The consensus among the recruiting sites is that he is 100% Auburn. Guess we shall see.
@TigerWoman — The current “signed” class is at 17. Sorry for the delay in getting this info to you.
Agreed. I hope he likes making “impact plays” on kick coverage for two years.
Or asked to grayshirt. Haha
Another great talent that will be processed through the kick team until he is halfway through his junior year.
Time to move on from that pipe dream . . .
Pretty obvious momma was pushing the Tide. Sigh.
Piss. I was really holding out hope that he would pull a Rashaan Evans… The REC is just too strong to let that happen.
Yeah, generally at that age, you don’t
Hard to contend with your ENTIRE FAMILY.
And it’s Bama
Not just an impact….he could be a starter.
Well, here we go
I understand the Bama connection but, wow, could he potentially have an immediate impact at Auburn!!
….on the far end.
The ND hat, though. Wow.
Still waiting on the Ben Davis announcement but, at least, there is an AU hat on the table.
I am talking about from a pure recruiting perspective. But, you are right.
@TigerWoman – I think either 16 or 17 now. I will go back and look after the Ben Davis announcement and give you a more exact answer.
To the user talking about WR classes do not forget the class Auburn signed that had Devin Aromashodou, Ben Obamanu, and Anthony Mix. That WR class might be considered hard to beat.
Last official was to Auburn. We have a chance.
Thanks for the 24 answer earlier Atl. Where are we at so far on that … 12 -14?
And, of course, a commercial break.
Ben Davis now live on ESPNU —
I haven’t seen Davis, Jr. listed on any of the published schedules I have seen.
@ L_AU_FAN, what time is Davis Jr. announcing?
Some thoughts on Character: needs work on backpedal and high pointing. He tracks the ball exceptionally well, but he will not be able to catch the ball while his feet are on the ground, nor with his body.
Can play in the box, good speed. Has physicality. Will hit. Will jam.
HAHA I do whatever i can do for my Tigers!
I think Marshall really wants/prefers Auburn but Kirby and company have been non-stop after him. I hope he sticks with AU.
Zach, I DO hope that begging on Twitter works for Davis!! 🙂
Is David Marshall to UGA still considered a sure thing?
War_Eagle_2010 – Thanks!
I read it on rivals. https://auburn.n.rivals.com/news/signing-day-central-39
War_Eagle_2010, I have not seen that but it makes sense.
Make sure to watch Auburn on periscope.
He is scheduled to announce in about 10 minutes so we will find out. But, to your point, easily a low percentage chance on landing Davis.
I read somewhere that the NCAA had granted AU a waiver to sign Manning without it counting against the limit of this class.
Chances of landing Ben Davis? I’d say under 20%. Would be AUsome to land him.
And, another LOI received from Tashawn Manning. Much like Shon Coleman, Auburn is honoring his scholarship while this young man battles cancer.
Manning is a DL from Apopka, FL. and is 6′ 4″, 250 lbs.
I just hope they have good hands. It’d be nice to have 2-3 guys who could catch well.
Yeah, I certainly cannot think of another WR class that matches this.
With Craig-Meyers (hopefully) committing, would this be the best WR class at Auburn, ever? I think so.
Safety Marlon Character from Grady HS in ATL is the next to officially become an Auburn Tiger. Character is 6′ 1″, 170 lbs.
Craig-Meyers from Tampa Catholic while Meyers will be from Pasco Co. HS
Yes, they are at different schools
Are the Myers brothers announcing at different schools? Just trying to figure out why they aren’t announcing at the same time.
Agree – And I don’t see B. Davis deviating from Bama – but that would be a huge “get”!
With the RB position one spot short and Auburn not signing an elite RB in this class, they will sell Davis Jr on the idea of playing RB. He won’t end up there.
It would have been nice to have a second LB in this class (I’ll be shocked if Ben Davis comes). Do you think they can sign Stephen Davis Jr. and move him to LB?
Exactly, BIG difference between HS and the SEC!
In reviewing the highlights, I can see exactly why they wanted to convert him. He is way to slow to be an SEC defensive end. And, he doesn’t have the finishing skills to take on SEC-caliber backs and QBs.
I hope Sammons can be an immediate asset also. Being 6′ 8″ and 280 cannot hurt!
Namely, it allows Golson to remain at center where I thought he might vacate to replace Coleman/Young. Golson was a tackle at Ole Miss.
Having Sammons join Auburn, provided that he can become an instant starter, prevents major reshuffling of the line as I had predicted.
Hello, all. Just got the computer fired up! Looking forward to the conversation!
Auburn was really never in the running but the nation’s #2 cornerback, Trayvon Mullen, has signed with Clemson over FSU, TCU, and LSU.
For what it’s worth, ESPN now showing Auburn at #10 in class rankings right behind #9 Alabama and #8 Georgia.
Apologies for misspelling Sammons’ name two out of the three times I typed it… Geez.
Prince Sammons is now officially an Auburn Tiger! Simmons is a defensive end but is projected to be on the offensive line at Auburn. Simmons is 6′ 8″, 280 lbs and comes to Auburn from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in Cincinnati, OH.
AU has a total of 14 signed right now. There are 9 early enrollees who are already on campus (and I think all of these count toward the 2016 class). There is another scholarship that was awarded to punter Kevin Phillips. The most that AU can sign is 24 for this class.
Five signed so far. How many do you think Auburn will have in this class or how many can they sign today?
You are welcome and I enjoy doing this. Just trying my best not to embarrass Koolbell or the TET community!
Yes – Appreciate the thread Atl!
Coe’s a big ‘en. I think Auburn is off to a good start.
Brodarious Hamm – OL – 6′ 2″ – 322 lbs
Woody Barrett – QB – 6′ 2″ – 225 lbs
Eli Stowe – WR – 6′ 0″ – 175 lbs
Nick Coe – DL – 6′ 6″ – 269 lbs
Marquis McClain – WR – 6′ 2″ – 209 lbs
Appreciate what your doing Atl_AU_Fan! I’m checking back ever so often. Good job!
Thanks! Sorry about that one.
But If you have it. It would be nice to see their size too.
I’m including the positions as part of the post. For instance, for Eli Stowe, here is what I posted:
LOI now in from Eli Stowe. Stowe is a WR from Niceville HS out of Niceville, FL.
Could you tell us what positions these guys will fill? What about Eli Stowe?
Nick Coe – Defensive Line
What position does Nick Coe play?
Marquis McClain is the next new Auburn Tiger. The LOI for the WR from Crestview, FL has been received. McClain is a 3* recruit but may easily be underrated.
Nick Coe has now faxed in his LOI. Coe is a DL from Asheboro HS in Asheboro, NC.
LOI now in from Eli Stowe. Stowe is a WR from Niceville HS out of Niceville, FL.
Ben Davis is the next Auburn target scheduled to make a live announcement at 9:00 CT. We will, however, continue posting updates as letters of intent are received.
And, as predicted, Warrior chooses Tennessee
Warrior now live on Fox 5 Atlanta –
Just about 5 minutes away from the first live announcement. Nigel Warrior will be announcing from the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. Most recruiting sites are predicting the 4* safety to sign with Tennessee.
The LOI fax is now in from Woody Barrett – Barrett is a QB from West Orange HS out of Winter Garden, FL.
Hamm was already committed but, other than early enrollees, becomes the first to submit his LOI on NSD. Hamm comes to Auburn from Spalding HS in Griffin, GA.
Brodarious Hamm – OL – has now officially signed with Auburn.
There are some good possibilities on the board. Warrior is set to announce in about an hour although programming has already started. Technically, recruits are allowed to start submitting Letters of Intent as of 7:00 local time.
Good morning ATL. I’m heading off to work but I’ll be checking back from time to time. Looking for a big day for Auburn.
Good Morning and War Eagle! Welcome to the NSD open thread.
