By on May 22nd, 2012 in Football Comments Off

The Auburn Baseball Team only had three hits in a 6-1 loss to Florida in the first game of the SEC Baseball Tournament. The loss dropped Auburn’s record to 30-27 and put them into the loser’s bracket.

0n Wednesday at 4:30 pm, Auburn will face Georgia a 4-1 loser to Vanderbilt earlier this evening.

Neither Auburn nor Florida could get much offense through the first five innings as the Tigers had just two hits off of Florida starter Jonathan Crawford and Florida had three hits off of Auburn’s John Luke Jacobs through five full innings. But the Gators broke it open in the sixth and went on to claim the first round victory.

Daniel Koger will start for the Tigers in Wednesday’s elimination game.
