Auburn Adds Eleventh Commitment to 2014 Class

By on July 17th, 2013 in Football, News Comments Off

rn_seniorbowl_ms_08 - Stanton TruittOne of the best athletes in the south committed to Auburn today when four-star quarterback/athlete Stanton Truitt announced his choice to be a Tiger.

The Georgia Region 8 Athlete of the Year was highly recruited by several schools (especially the University of Tennessee) but decided he wanted to be a Tiger.

Stanton ran for 812 yards and threw for 1,420 yards, amassing 27 touchdowns as a junior at Monroe High School.

Most expect the dual threat quarterback to play wide receiver and wildcat QB on The Plains. Stanton is a great addition to the 2014 class that now totals eleven players. We are looking forward to seeing him play in Jordan-Hare.
