One more Running back, plus the return of Jovon Robinson. Add one more quarterback, and two offensive linemen. Another linebacker, and two defensive linemen.
We have 15 verbally committed, and I think we can sign 23 this year, depending on if anyone leaves the team like usual after coaching changes.

One of my coaches used to say that guys who couldn’t catch had “skillet hands”.
Glaring lack of Offensive Lineman… should have 2…need Defensive Tackles…more linebackers…wide receivers. Go gettem’ Gus!
We picked up eight(?) O-Linemen last year – obviously not an emphasis this year.
If we have any extra spots in the class I think you will see Gus bring in some 2 or three star OL projects that have the frame to develop given a couple of years to add bulk and size. We brought in too many last year to expect any big names to come in and expect to start within a year.
Part of me wishes that Dee Liner would reconsider….he seems to have an attitude problem. I am really fatigued of those types of issues on an Auburn team.
We still have no depth at linebacker….can’t imagine why we can’t find any decent linebackers it is still a serious issue with this team. We need a big mean guy in the middle who doesn’t run headlong into blocks, ala Jake.
After the law and school got done with our secondary we could use a couple of DB’s.

Auburn won’t run a true middle linebacker in the new scheme. A 4-2-5 is what we will run defensively under Johnson.
I’m starting to think the 4-2-5 was a key reason Gus went for CEJ. For one AU hasn’t had LB depth for four years, for another it seams to me that it will be easier for a DB to have better stamina than a bigger LB, this will be key since our defense will most likely be on the field a lot due to our offensive scheme.
