I am sure by now everyone has heard the the US lost the Ryder Cup to Europe but it sure was not because of Auburn’s own Jason Dufner. He went 3-1 in his matches and if weren’t for Ian Poulter reeling off 5 straight birdies in a match he would have gone undefeated.
He was teamed with Zach Johnson in the foursomes and fourballs and the media was calling the team “Fire and Ice” because of Jasons ultra cool demeanor and Zachs excitable disposition on the course.
He and Johnson beat Westwood and Molinari 3-2 on Friday morning and Colsearts andSergio 2-1 on Friday afternoon. In his singles match on Sunday he made two eagles and easily dusted Hanson 2 up.
War Eagle cheers followed him around the Medinah course in Chicago almost on every shot. While I am disappointed we lost the cup I am very proud Jason.
He is a star on the PGA Tour and is doing us proud.

War Damn Eagle Jason!
Jason was much more animated during the Ryder Cup than you ever see him on tour. He was a joy to watch, and, yes, he totally kicked boot-ay!
Officially on my bucket list is to go witness a Ryder Cup tourney in person.
Love me some JD! He’s a cross between Hale Irwin, and Raymond Floyd, and trust me, that’s a good thing. Masters Champion Floyd, and US Open Champion Irvin, are two men of great character.
WAR EAGLE!
I don’t usually follow golf but my husband has got me into following Jason Dufner. He’s AUsome!
Thanks for showing him some love here at TET.
