For the fourth consecutive year Auburn golfer Cydney Clanton has been named an All-American. She was named last weekend to the National Golf Coaches Association All-America Second Team. At the end of her freshman and junior years she was named first team all-American.
The honor came last weekend after the NCAA Championship in College Station, Texas at the NGCA Division I Awards Banquet.
At the end of the season Cydney was ranked by GolfWeek as the 13th best golfer in the country. Her coach Kim Evans said, “We are very proud of Cydney. She will go down as one of the all-time best at Auburn and has a very bright future ahead of her.”
