Auburn junior golfer Blayne Barber has been named a First-Team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

A second-team All-American for the last two years, Barber becomes the first Tiger Golfer to be named First-Team All-American since 1995 when Iain Steel and Chip Spratlin made the team.

Blayne finished in the top-5 seven times this season and in the top-20 ten times. He led the Tigers in rounds counted (.939), rounds at par or better (21), sub-par rounds (16) and rounds in the 60s (11).

The number 8 ranked player in the country, Blayne’s All-American selection makes him only the fourth player to be named first team in the history of the Auburn program.
