Auburn is No. 3 in the nation in rushing, 14th in total offense and 15th in scoring. And a big part of that success is due to the skill and leadership of Center Reese Dismukes. Today Reese was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Reese anchored the line that produced 556 total yards against Georgia Saturday including 332 on the ground. For the season, the Tigers have set a school record for the most rushing yards in school history through 11 games with 3,523 yards per game for an average of 320.3 yards.

Dismukes honor is the ninth SEC weekly award the Tigers have won this season. The other SEC honors were won by Nick Marshall, who won the top offensive player twice (after the Texas A&M game and Tennessee game) – Jeremy Johnson, who was twice named the Freshman of the Week (Western Carolina and Florida Atlantic games) – Carl Lawson, Freshman of the week (Ole Miss game) – Tre Mason, Offensive Player of the Week (Arkansas game) – Robenson Therezie, Defensive Player of the Week (Washington State game) – and Chris Davis, Special Teams Player last week after the Tennessee game.

Congratulations Reese and keep it going!
