Another sunset game on the Plains!
Auburn vs. Florida Atlantic, Open Thread
War Eagle, everybody! It’s another football Saturday, and the Tigers are at home tonight in Jordan Hare Stadium. This kickoff with the Florida Atlantic Owls will be at 6:30 PM Central Time, and the game will be televised on Fox Sports Net. This should be a fun tune-up game for the Tigers. It’s breast cancer awareness month, and Auburn will honor that in a variety of ways this game. Look for pink ribbons and towels on the field tonight.
Auburn comes into this game with a 6-1 record and number 11 ranking in the AP poll, after knocking of Texas A&M in College Station last Saturday. Florida Atlantic is 2-5, looking to bank the big payday at Auburn, and get ready for the rest of their Conference USA schedule, with 3 of their last 4 games at home.
For those attending the game, it will feel like fall, finally. The temperature should be around 58 degrees at sunset, under clear, cobalt-blue skies. It will be downright chilly and in the 40s by game’s end. The brilliantly shining planet Venus should be prominently visible above the jumbotron in the south end zone of Jordan Hare Stadium.
As always, feel free to participate in this thread. We’ll be in during the day at times. War Eagle, and let’s beat those Owls!
