Auburn Football’s 4-1 start may not have been good enough to crack the top 25 this week but someone is taking notice of the rise of the Tigers. CBS Sports announced today that Auburn’s Oct. 19th game against SEC West foe Texas A&M, has been selected to be the Network’s Game of the Week.

No. 9 Texas A&M is also 4-1 overall and will be playing this Saturday at Ole Miss while Auburn host Western Carolina for homecoming. The Auburn road game will mark the first time the Tigers have played at the Aggies Kyle Field in College Station.

I am really glad that this team gets the top billing that week. They deserve it. All of CBS is not in line with this however, as Tim Brando said just yesterday that “Ole Miss presents a much tougher match up for its opponents than Auburn does.”

    Keep on keepin’ on Brando….

…..At last! A game not on ESPN-U! I like the ones on CBS and the SEC Network. I can unplug the cable, and watch ‘em in HD with an antenna!
