With less than two weeks till basketball season gets under way, Auburn Coach Tony Barbee spoke today at the SEC Media Days. Barbee said that he believes his program has gotten better each year.
He said that no one puts a higher expectation on his program than he does himself. “When I talk about expectations … I don’t see a game we are going to lose. That’s how I look at things. It’s going to be a fun year for us. Practice has been competitive and spirited. We have a lot of positive things going on and we are excited about the year.”
The coach also says he expects seniors Frankie Sullivan and Rob Chubb to be leaders on what he sees as a stronger Tiger Roster for 2012- 13. He says the Tigers are close to being a serious factor in the SEC and predicts that Auburn will finish higher in the SEC in the upcoming season.

I know this will be a great season for AU Mens Basketball. When the coach steps out with this kind of statement, things must really be coming together.
War Eagle!
I like what Barbee has done so far. He seems to have the team headed in the right direction.
