
Auburn commit Jeremy Johnson was named Mr. Football by the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s today.
The Award was made by the Alabama High School Athletic Directors and Coaches Association at the annual ASWA luncheon in Montgomery.
The Carver-Montgomery quarterback was also named to the State’s Super 12 and honored as the ASWA Class 6A Back of the Year. A super athlete, Jeremy also made first team all-state basketball this past season.
The 6’ 6”, 220 lb. QB threw 45 touchdowns for 5,625 yards the last two season’s at Carver. Thirty one of those TD’s came during his senior season. He also scored seven rushing touchdowns this year on 105 carries for 705 yards.
Shortly after receiving his awards, Jeremy told reporters that he is 100 percent committed to Auburn. “I’m through with recruiting. Auburn is where I want to be and where I’m going.”
Congratulations Jeremy. We can’t wait to see you in Orange and Blue.

I’ve been touting this dude for a while now. Food for thought: Cam was 6’4″ 231 at this age… right now he looks like Randall Cuningham.
