There is so much that I want to say right now…most of it laden with profanity. I’m feeling badly for Frazier. And I don’t want to dump on Moseley before the game. I’ll just go back and read Derek’s post about hope.

Sorry Dude, I was under duress and trying to stay upright….
My sister who is planning her wedding said, “So, like, is this a bad thing? I guess I don’t know”. Me: “Remember Chris Todd? He would be GREAT right about now.”. Her: “Oh. Gotcha. That bad”.
Lets see what Moseley can do after a week of preparation taking the majority of first string snaps. I will be the first to admit I thought the timing was terrible in pulling Frazier last week and Moseley looked ill prepared. But I’ll reserve judgement on this decision.
While I am just as surprised as the next guy, Clint had a great game against the Rebs last year. We’ll see – maybe he’ll do fine and TotM will be able to sit up straight by half time.
I just hope that he’s got his head on straight. When Clint doesn’t have to think too much he does a pretty good job. I just hope Jeremy Johnson is ready to be a starter when he gets to town. Does anyone know if JJ is going to be an early enrollee?
I think that our coaching staff (primarily Coach Loeffler) has only himself to blame. His primary role is a QB coach… and yet our QB looks like a highschool player. I don’t think CGC had any other choice.
No development.
No confidence.
No significant output.
My only hope is that the fragile personality of Clint Mosely can take a lick. The reason for this statement is that these Reb/Bears/whatever they are called have been hitting under Hugh Freeze. Put two of bama’s boys on the pine for the year…. Don’t watch out… our third string will be our starter because they will break your back.
For his sake… I hope Clint can get rid of the ball.
But I forget…. we are going to develop a “running mentality”… whew. Terry Bowden – eat your heart out!!!!!
WTH, I have no idea what the coaches are thinking. We have not done very well with one quarterback much less musical chair signal callers. I shudder to think what rotating QBs will be like.
I hope this site is flame retardant when Sparkey and the Capn read about this. LOL
You could put Aaron Rogers out there right now and it wouldn’t make a difference. Unless the line blocks better and the WR’s run their routes correctly, there won’t be much any QB can do. Loeffler’s playcalling and use of personnel just makes it that much worse.
HOPEFULLY, we will see more reasoned playcalling and we’ll keep the defense off balance enough for them to not blitz us at will every time we drop back to pass.
Clint it seems fits the offensive scheme better. I have reserved hope for him still. What I saw from him in the last game was less indecision than what Khiel has. Frazier just takes to long to make a decision. I think he’s the right fit going forward. The offense isn’t designed for Frazier. The more negative we get, the more it hurts the team. These guys are young and support means alot to them. War Eagle!
If we are just going to hand the ball off the rest of the year then put Wallace in. Someone can remind him in huddle if play Is going left or right! Mosley is not a threat to run on the FEW passes I hope we attempt. Maybe Clints shoulder is well enough to get the ball into masons basket and he gets the 20+ carries I’ve been begging for. If so I bet he goes over 150 Yds and 2 TD.
……You know it’s bad, when a post about Auburn’s starting quarterback decision sends you straight to the toilet! And I was sending profanity-laced emails to friends about it. That’s not something I generally do!
…..It’s either that, or another salmonella-laced bagged spinach episode. Yeah, I know. I really shouldn’t just pour that stuff in a bowl and cut up cucumbers and tomatoes on top of it. I guess I’m a lazy 21st century man.
…..The only thing I can figure is that Spanky is right. Man, what we have to remember is that Khiel Frazier and Clint Mosley were both quarterbacks a lot of teams wanted out of high school. They’ve got the tools. This staff just has to put it together for them!
As a microbiologist, I pour prewashed spinach and other greens straight into my salad bowl…..Now canteloupe and other heavily skinned fruit, I always wash before cutting into or peeling them.
Honestly, I don’t have anything against Clint Moseley, his development, like other quarterbacks (Frazier is the most stark example–he’s has A LOT of natural talent) has been compromised….now, I feel like it’s whoever is mentally the strongest and I didn’t see a lot of confidence with Moseley last week–which contributed to his poor play. It also contributed to my poor response above. And then I read your comment below……it’s probably a good thing that I’m limited in adult beverage intake…..
……Man, I can’t get my head around it. So we’re to expect that a putrid offense that has exactly two TDs against three SEC opponents will work better with a quarterback who didn’t practice with the first team till this week? He’s going to have all that “Flip right, double-X jet, 36 counter, naked waggle, X-7, X-quarter” jazz correct, and execute it?
I think this is fabricated. I think Chizik is trying to give him an out. Honestly, I can’t say that I blame him. We should call it what it is…. a break. And trying to go in a different direction.

I do believe they are on the same path.
Mosley will be watching from that position too. If you watch closely he kind of starts to curl just before the snap.
You serious, Clark?

Me too Todd.

I really want you guys to be correct! War Eagle!

God help us. It’s only getting worse.
I’m past the point of anger, really. I’m just kind of numb.
At this point all I have to look forward to is the hope of some firings after this year is done.

Welcome back Colonel.
We’ve missed you. Always good to have your insight.
I would use Frazier as a wide receiver.
Loeffler is not that smart or innovative.

This is a CRAP decision by the coaches.

THERE IS A REPORT THAT KIEHL FRAZIER HAS AN INJURY and …
That is why he is not starting. See it at the following link:
