Acid Reign Profile

Acid Reign AcidReign: paraswarm@aol.com Edit My Profile

.....Still making noise after all these years! Lifetime slacker, dreamer, and miscreant with a knack for calculation. I was born in the United State of Texas, but have spent the majority of my years here amongst the shaded hills of the Tragic City, enjoying glorious smog-enhanced sunsets. In a troubled county, I live in a little slice of paradise between the ridges of Red and Shades Mountains. .....I've been an obsessive Auburn football follower since the Punt-Bama-Punt days, and have seen a lot of great football on the Plains. This lazy shirker finally learned the value of hard work and persistence from the fine folks in Auburn, and enjoys his return visits immensely! .....Hobbies include guitar-playing (or really just making loud and weird noise on any sort of instrument or object), cooking, computers, tennis, and old-school pen and paper RPGs. .....I love getting together with a good drink, great family, and friends.

Head Coach

Where do they stand?(Photo by Acid Reign.)      War Eagle, everybody. Fat Tuesday has come and gone, and it’s the season for giving things up. Frankly, I’m for giving up cold and ice threats, and trading in for storms, bugs and the stink of blooming Bradford pear trees. Spring football just can’t get here fast Continue Story…

Auburn Arena

Should Tony Barbee get another year?(Photo by Acid Reign.)      War Eagle, everybody! I decided to watch a little Auburn basketball tonight on my DVR, and I think a cage match broke out. At home in Auburn Arena, Auburn took out the trash and decked South Carolina 83-67. A 16 point win at home against Continue Story…

Charges dismissed

Auburn keeps a great cornerback signee.      War Eagle, everybody! After a bit of bad post-signing-day news, it appears that Auburn football signee Kalvaraz Bessent will likely be joining the team after all. After reports surfaced last week that Bessent had been arrested on felony drug charges,  things did not look good for his future. Continue Story…

How do those four and five stars pan out at Auburn?(Photo by Acid Reign.)      War Eagle, everybody! This morning, from the snow-covered hills of the Tragic City, we’ll talk some Auburn recruiting. More specifically, we’ll look at how Auburn’s last five classes have contributed, with an emphasis on four and five star players. Four Continue Story…

Impact 2014

Who will make an impact in 2014?(Photo by Acid Reign.)      War Eagle, everybody! It’s the day after signing day, and aren’t we relieved that recruiting season has ended? Much like the numbness after a successful root canal, we’re glad it’s all over, for the rest of the year! For us Auburn Tigers, there is Continue Story…

The top returning quarterback in the SEC.(Photo by Acid Reign.)      War Eagle, everybody! Today, the icy state of Alabama thaws out, and we look forward to spring football. With the state shut down, I had plenty of time to catch up on my reading. One thing that really struck me was that nationally and Continue Story…

Reb Offense

On a cold week with only the Senior Bowl and the Pro Bowl to look forward to, it’s finally starting to sink in that football season is over. It’s going to be a long haul till A-Day.
